Harry Potter and the Goblet of Awesome

I love to read and so do Eylinn and Hoba. My room is scattered with books and I carry a book with me where ever I go most of the times. I'm not sure though which one is my favorite. I love the Harry Potter-series. I even enjoy reading the Twilight-series. But only when I really miss my boyfriend, otherwise Bella's whining is too much. And, come on, who doesn't have a weak spot for sparkly vampires?

There's book called "Elsewhere". It's not very well-known, but it's awesome. It's about a teenaged girl, Liz, who dies in an accident and ends up in Elsewhere. Elsewhere is the place you go after you die, the afterlife, heaven. Elsewhere is just like Earth, only you get younger instead of ageing. When you turn zero, you are send back to Earth to reincarnate as a baby. She meets her grandmother there, who died when she was really young. She also meets her favorite rockstar, who's apparantly died of an overdose. Liz becomes obsessed with watching her family, friends and the guy who ran over her with his taxi cab through so-called "Observation Decks". She gets really depressed that she will never grow up, get her driver's license, fall in love, get married, etc. I won't tell you what happens in the end because YOU HAVE TO READ IT. Because it's awesome!

I also love the Princess Diaries-series by Meg Cabot. I basically love all books by Meg Cabot. And the The Luxe-series by Anna Godbersen. They are like the Gossip Girl books (also awesome) but then set in the late 19th century. I like bookseries more than just seperate books. I guess, because bookseries are just really thick books. And once I love a book or story, I don't want it to end.

I've read a book once and I remember I loved it. Too bad I don't remember what do book was called or who has written it. All I can remember is that it was about a girl, teenaged again (there's something awesome about teenaged girls), who's pregnant. For some reason, she ends up living with a lady whose husband just died. And guess what, they were trying to get pregnant. It doesn't sound all that interesting, but I la-la-loved reading it. So anyone who recognizes this storyline and knows the title of the book, please, please, please, contact me. I'd love to read that book again.

I'm always looking for new books. "Marked"  by Kristen and P.C. Cast has been laying on my bookshelf, waiting to be read. Too bad I have to read so many books for school... I hope you love the smell of books as much as I do. Then you must must must read Elsewhere (by Gabrielle Zevin). Oh, and while you're at it, you should really read the Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants-series as well. Because they are awesome as well.

My ray of sunlight

Let me introduce you to someone who often puts a smile on my face when I'm having an emo-day: Lord Voldemort. Not the actual Voldemort, but the Voldemort from twitter. I mean, I'm not saying that's not the real Voldemort, cos that would be awesome because then the whole Harry Potter-world would really exist. But then again, it would also be kind of sad, because it would mean that I'm not a witch. Unfortunatly I haven't received an invitation to Hogwarts back when I was eleven.
Anywhoodle, I was talking about Lord_Voldemort7. I'm not promoting him/her, I've never spoken to him/her, I'm just saying he/she is awesome. And I'm hoping she's a girl. She probably is because she knows everything about Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus and she's probably following oceanup.com as well. Or maybe it's the real Voldy. That would be funny, Voldemort reading oceanup.
So everyone, from the Netherlands to the U.S.A., go follow Lord_Voldemort7 because he'll brighten up your world.

P.S. Today was the first day I wore shorts to school this year. It was awesome.

Who cares about structure anyway?

Our original plan was that I would write on Mondays, Eylinn on Wednesdays and Hoba on Fridays. We followed that plan for about three days. Which is probably a record.
Our new plan is for all of us to write at least once a week. Sounds doable, right?

If you know where the above image is from, you are awesome. PERIOD.
That's all for now. Expect more this week though.

Wednesday

Hey,

My name is Eylinn. I will be posting every wednesday, maybe I should tell you a few things about myself.
For one, as Enya formally stated Eylinn is not my real name. If it were, that would be extremely weird. Eylinn is a nickname my friends gave me, which I might explain someday but i'm going to let it hang for the moment.
A thing that most people know about me is my obsession with Harry Potter. It may or may not be slightly unhealthy. Therefore most people know to avoid telling me they don't like Harry Potter.
The thing is, I grew up with Harry Potter. It has been in my life since I was six and let me tell you, that was a lóóóóng time ago. I love reading and there are thousands of books I could recommend, but I will never again grow up with a book series. And that is why Harry Potter is so special to me.
Oh yeah, I tend to get distracted very easily and sort of lose track of what i'm actually saying. So occasionally I'll start to blog about something and end up with something completely different.
Like what i'm doing now. Sort of.
hmm....Maybe I should list a couple of more things about myself. Well.....I'm a procrastinator. In fact, i'm procrastinating right  now. I should be studying for an important Spanish test but instead i'm writing a blog.
I may or may not play a couple of  musical instruments and if you really want to annoy me you have to doggie ear my books. (I really don't see the problem of just using a bookmark!!!) My favourite word is oscillate, but I never use it. My least favourite word is crockery, it makes me shiver.

So those are a few random facts about me. Believe me, there is more to me than I just revealed.
The whole point of this blog is, us sharing our opinions and thoughts. They will be interesting and insightful, I promise. (We might include bucketloads of sarcasm and random pictures of Zac Efron, who knows?) So....stick around!

That's it for today! It wasn't very long, but I don't think it needs to be.

Xx

Ps. I wasn't kidding when I said we might include random pictures of Zac Efron.

MONDAY

We're Eylinn, Hoba and Enya. And we're awesome. Enchanté.
I'm Enya and I'm writing this post because the first thing we agreed on is that we should post something each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. And I picked Monday. Eylinn picked Wednesdays and Hoba Fridays.
Anywhoodle, we think being mysterious is awesome, so we won't tell very specific facts about ourselves. We might live in America, or perhaps in Europe or Narnia. Our names are real though, except for Eylinn's actually. But that's her story to tell.
All three of us love reading, Taylor Swift and acting. We're in a theatergroup together as well. This year we're doing "Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events", but it's slightly adapted for the stage. I portray the role of Violet Baudelaire, who's played by Emily Browning in the movie. In case you haven't seen the movie, you should stop reading this, watch the movie, and then continue reading this, because the movie is AWESOME. And in case you don't even know who Emily Browning is, you should be ashamed of yourself. And watch Sucker Punch even before you watch "A Series Of Unfortunate Events". I don't care what the critics say, I love Sucker Punch. I loved every single bit about it. The storyline, the mood, the actrices, the action, the special effects, the soundtrack, especially the soundtrack. Zack Snyder did an awesome job on this movie. And did I mention that Emily Browning's got the leadrole? And Vanessa Hudgens is in it as well, btw. I'm afraid you must watch the movie, before we can discuss the awesomeness of this movie. Because Sucker Punch is so awesome, you need to be exposed to its awesomeness in order to realise its awesomeness.

I was meant to introduce myself and tell a little about myself. Guess you'll have to visit this blog regularly to find out who I am. And who my friends are. And what makes us awesome and how you can be awesome as well.
